Tim Blake Nelson has opened up about his role that never was inDune: Part Two.
“I dont think Im at liberty to say what the scene was,” Nelson toldMovieWeb.
“Id leave that to Denis [Villeneuve] if he wants to talk about it.
I had a great time over there shooting it.
And then he had to cut it because he thought the movie was too long.
And I am heartbroken over that, but theres no hard feelings.
“Im a strong believer that when its not in the movie, its dead.
I kill darlings, and its painful for me,” he previously toldCollider.
“Sometimes I remove shots and I say, ‘I cannot believe Im cutting this out.’
I feel like a samurai opening my gut.
Its too painful.”
Dune: Part Two is out now in cinemas.
